Artist description Producer/Guitarist Joel Del Rosario began his musical journey to today, by playing viola for San Francisco's School of The Arts initially focusing (as expected) on Classical Music. However, early on, also being heavily influenced by the sounds of jazz guitar greats like George Benson, Norman Brown, and Stanley Jordan (whose mentor Elroy Jones later became Joel's mentor), led Joel to the Guitar. Soon Joel was quickly drawn into the smooth jazz scene. Joel, much as decribed below, has since become a well sought after San Francisco Guitarist. Through Recording situations as well as Concert situations, his popularity (coupled with his strong spiritual ties), has led Joel to decide to combine music and faith to produce "All Him" a smooth jazz album integrating uplifting and relaxing music to calm the soul. This CD runs through the gamut of R&B and Funk tinged Smooth Jazz, to Spiritually uplifting instrumentals, that could very easily grace the airwaves of Smooth Jazz Stations like KKSF, KJAZ and others stations all across the US (and I'm pretty sure it will upon release). So be on the lookout for this OutStanding premiere release from One of San Francisco's list of rising promising talents.
