Artist History
On RAD day(respect all differences), Early PGI was formed. RAD day is only held because Moraga is a sheltered, white suburb. Bands played at lunch and completely demolished Linkin Park's "In the End". It sucked so bad, Miriam got the idea local music in Moraga wasn't too great from what she heard. She and Lola decided to start a band. Miriam voulenteered to play guitar, and Lola chose bass. Laureno was sick that day, one of the 17 times that year. She said moving to Moraga made her sick. Right. Mury and Lola said that Laureno should play drums because she had been talking about it for a while. Miriam decided the name Random Cheese because she had a really random dream about cheese. Figures. Since RAD day was a Friday, Laureno came back not expecting anything. She was nearly tackled by Miriam, telling her she was in band. Laureno was estatic. She finally had an excuse for a drum kit. But the band did nothing for a while, and Laureno decided to look for the missing link, a lead singer. Laureno employed Echo for her kick-ass style,unique-ness and voice, and Random Cheese was complete. Over the summer they got all their insturments and met in Laureno's garage and decided that RC was going nowhere. They gave out stickers at school but that was it. A new name was in need. After voting, they had a new name- Plastic Glove incident, or PGI for short. PGI is getting farther than RC would have ever gone. We'll just have to wait and see what happens..... |
