Artist description
Zipperhead takes a nod at 70’s classic metal with tongues firmly in cheek. Power riffs, tasteful musicianship, and plenty of attitude make ‘Sick Sense’ one incredible rock record. For those about to rock, this is going to kick your ass! For fans of Deep Purple, Motorhead, AC/DC, etc.

Artist History
Zipperhead has been kicking it around Chicago for quite a few years now, proudly wearing their rock-and-roll roots on their sleeves at a time when doing so is not exactly considered hip. Fortunately for fans of rock, Zipperhead is willing to swim against the tide of popularity, and rock for rock’s sake. They are in the early stages of recording their next record for Beluga Records.

Press Reviews
"Zipperhead takes everything you like about rock and twists it into something all their own. You get guitar solos and gruff hardcore meets Van Halen vocals. The guitar is sometimes melodic, but can change to a pummeling rock riff at any second. ‘Polygrip’ is a bruiser for sure, only to be followed by the requisite heart-felt ballad, ‘It’s Over’ (c’mon, you know every big rock album has to have one.) If you’re bored with your current catalog of music, go back to your roots and check out some rock. Zipperhead will never replace all those Kiss records, but who will?" - Jitter Magazine
........"13 meat-n-potato, ham-fisted thumpers from this trio. You can tell these boys are fans of Motorhead in a BIG way. Toss in a little of the Mentors into the mix and you've got Zipperhead. A solid release that fans of the aforementioned bands should enjoy." --Norman Zebrowski, Etch Magazine |
