Press Reviews
"The Jimmystuarts could easily be mistaken for a nationally recognized band. The four piece pumps out sweaty poptunes one after another. Each radio ready and full of guitar hooks, dancing girls, and ballads if needed...." -The Rocket, issue No.311 Last Friday in Seattle, The Jimmystuarts reappeared on the live music scene before an intoxicated and grateful crowd. After overcoming difficulties with the less than competent sound tech,The Jimystuarts turned out an incredible performance. The sound was a call back to the days of real ROCK andsomuch beer that one can only nod ones head in appreciation. The Jimmystuarts music is also marked with a flowing vaguely surflike curve that provided plenty to keep the kids moving and happy. The appearance of the theme song from the cartoon "Transformers," and some street discipline administered to the crowd by guitarist Benjamin Winters convinced all that seeing the show was well worth the time.I ook forward to catching there next performance. -Mtv.com,Amanda Wolfman 10-24-99 |
