    Artist History
Over the past three years, I've been touring across the US and the UK in support of my two self-produced albums, 1997's "In The Bunker," and the 1999 release, "perfecT", both on Brown Chair Records. I've performed in prestigious rooms such as the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, The Bitter End, Wetlands, and the Living Room in New York City, Club Passim in Cambridge, the Mint in LA, and the 12 Bar Club in London, England. I've opened for and shared stages with Richie Havens, Shawn Mullins, Vance Gilbert, Patty Larkin, Freedy Johnston, Barbara Kessler, Disappear Fear, Tim Reynolds, and even Buckethead. (That was an interesting night at the Hotel Utah!) I've also appeared on many radio stations, including the award-winning WDST (Woodstock, NY,) Wyoming Public Radio in Laramie, WY, and WERS in Boston. Recently, I wrote two feature pieces on independent CD production for Musician Magazine, and I've been published in Acoustic Guitar, Home Recording and other national magazines. Currently I'm writing a regular column for the music webzine Harmony-Central.com called Postcards from the Road. Strengthening the community of singer-songwriters is very important to me, and towards this end, I've organized and hosted numerous songwriter showcases in New York City, such as Makin' Waves I, II, and III in 1997, the Yanks n' Beans series, featuring two performers from New York and two from Boston (get it?), and the year-running Uptown Songwriters Circle which happened every Wednesday at the Dark Star Lounge.I'm not big on lengthy descriptions about my music and its "depth and meaning", so instead I encourage you to listen to the tracks and see what you think. I'm proud of my work and I hope you enjoy it. Have a great fall,-Sam
