He plays guitar, saxaphone, drums, synthesizers, bass guitar, keyboards and flute.
Paul Anselmo writes, produces, engineers, and performs all of his music into a
mix of smooth jazz, rock, new age, and blues. |

Artist History
Multitalented Paul Anselmo has been active on both coasts as a freelance
composer, instrumentalist, producer and recording engineer. In addition to
many club appearances he has performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Town Hall,
and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Anselmo has recorded commercials, film scores, singles and albums with a
variety of artists including Bob Thompson, Tom Manoff, Phil Baker, Omar
Clay, Janine Otis, Stanton Davis, Carleton Jackson and the Uptown Horn Band,
and has worked for such companies as T.J. Valentino, New York West
Productions, Spiritwind Records, and DSM Productions . He also played on and
produced the remake of Sid Proson's "Till I Waltz Again."
Also a teacher and educator, Anselmo taught for many years at The Third
Street Music Settlement where he helped develop an innovative program in
popular music. As an off-shoot of this work, he was the primary guitarist
and percussionist for W.W. Norton's educational package, "The Music Kit."
He has also taught at Boy's Harbor and the Founier and Greco Performing Arts
Center.
Currently Anselmo maintains a private recording studio where he records his
own work. He plays all the instruments on this CD. |
