Artist History
New Millenium's End originally formed in 1994 under the name of Zahrim. Members were Einherjar : Guitar and Vocalsand Farlas : Drums and vocals. It was Einherjar's sole intention to create and recorda project as an outlet for his musical tastes and personal beliefs. After recording the demo in 1994 (which was subsequently written, rehearsed, and recorded in 3 weeks) the two members decided to continue with their full time bands and only had 4 copies of the demo made. These were distributed to the two members, one guest vocalist, and one friend. However, they found their way into the hands of many people that enjoyed listening to it as much as Zahrim enjoyed performing it. After many years (3) of debating and others persuading the band, they got together a full line up to perform one live show. This show was free to the publicand the band went all out, playing in corpse paint, mud, blood, gauntlets, and whateverresources they felt fit the atmosphere of Zahrim. One change was the band name. Zahrim would now be known as New Millenium's End and one addition was made for the live show. Keyboards were added, but only as intros and outros, in order to not take away from the raw and aggressive feel of the music. It was performed exactly as it was 4 years earlier. A new song was written and rehearsed two days prior to the show with the live line-up. (This show is available on VHS for 10$ US. Contact BFA for further info)As of now, with the demo being recently released on CD by BFA Records,New Millenium's End have re-united with the two original members with the addition of a vocalist/bassist; planning to record new material and play live shows. |
