Artist description Hello,Here you find some of my songs. They are all home based recordings, which means we did spend a lot of time on one’s attic while recording these tunes. Yeah the sound could be better at times if I had recorded the stuff in a fancy studio. But then, it wouldn’t have been that much fun. I did enjoy myself during all of those recordings. We used a Fostex adat on the recordings of “Sleepin’ with the Snakes” and “Love under the bitter Moon” with a yamaha console and some gear we lent from friends. Together it took a week to record and mix down the songs. Although, I did the programming and most of the playing, some of the friends did step in and helped me out. All this work couldn’t have been done without the technical aid of Ditten. (Nowadays Ditten is sound engineer for K’Choise and Arid, two Belgian bands)On “Uncut Gems” I did work in the home studio of Pim and Tom Wolf with Pim as soundtech. It was nice to work with this dude, laid back and recording at a fast pace at the same time. The phrase: “Wait a second…” was typical for our labour. Why am I here? Why putting your music for free on the Net? Well, I guess I do like this anarchistic side of the Net. Also the idea that you never know where the people are from whom download your songs attracts me. And to those who did e-mail me, thanks for your kind words and keep it coming … .

Artist History Bran Ruz is the music project I am working on at the moment. It has nothing to do with being in a band like I used to know. Although I like and love the interaction of playing together it's me who does most of the work on the songs you’ll find here….I’m on live stage since my 15… Up till now I must have done up to a 1000 live gigs. I was in and out of bands, always as a frontman/singer and providing the lyrics. Besides this I provided most of the music too. The bands I played in had always a good live reputation, something in which I take great pride. If one were able to see me on stage again is something only time will tell. But then, when one has it in him it is due to come out one time or another…
