Artist History The band met in March 1997. Vocalist, Christopher Wall and drummer, Alex Hamilton -- who placed an add in the NYC Village Voice, were trying to revive their current band, Zen Bender with new members. After only two jam sessions with new players they had already written 2 new songs. Rather than reviving Zen Bender, a new entity emerged as new songs popped out as if they were waiting anxiously to be born -- and with that magic and chemistry of As It Is was born.
