Artist History Justice Cammack was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to Maryland at the age of nine. From day one, he was influenced by the sounds of greats like Santana, Chicago, Miles Davis, and Earl Klugh floating around the house. His father was a piano and bass player, his mother loved to sing and his older brother plays drums. Justice received his first guitar at seven years of age and it all started. From then on music would become his most desired passion. Through the years, he taught himself how to play the trumpet, guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. In his high school senior year, he was asked to perform in a large production play in which he stole the show. From that moment on he knew that show business would be his career goal. Justice has been writing songs since the age of fourteen and has twenty years of public performance under his belt. He has performed with a wide variety of bands throughout the years, covering Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Metal, Christian Rock, Country, and Jazz genres. He has also received some airplay on a couple of projects. He has performed for such events as Art Now, on the Washington, D.C. Capitol lawn, the 99.5 Red Cross Festival, River-Fest and the 95.5's Largest Office Party. He has recorded three CD's and has just released an Acoustic CD titled "Back From Nowhere (Acoustic Moments)." Justice Cammack wrote all of the songs on this CD. He is also preparing to record a full band version of this CD. Justice's influences came from artists such as Journey, Toto, Led Zeppelin, Gino Vannelli, John Mayer, and Santana. His music is reminiscent of classic rock merged with today's guitar oriented adult alternative pop/rock with a smooth blend of ballads and up-tempo rockers. Justice feels that music should reflect the true feelings of the writer, which makes his material emotional, up front, heart on your sleeve songs dealing with the never-ending human condition. His music has been compared to artists like Bon Jovi, Black Crows, Counting Crowes, John Mayer and Jude Cole to name a few. All instruments recorded on "Back From Nowhere (Acoustic Moments) are performed by Justice Cammack. Justice has been working towards the goal of being a memorable force in the entertainment industry. He has recently developed his own Production and Publishing/Record Company, Lyric Justice Music, Inc. He intends to use this company to push talented Washington, D.C. area artists who are going unnoticed. Justice is very interested in helping the community and is always interested in playing for Charity fund-raisers, Festivals, and Community Development events.
