Artist History Originally conceived as a summer vacation band way back in the summer of '88, Gemini Rise's core consists of cousins Michael Richard (vocals, guitar, bass, kbd) , Denis Dufour (vocal, guitar, bass, kbd, beatbox), Peter Richard (drums, vox, guitar) and occasionally Yves Richard (trumpet). A string of home recordings were done between 1989 and 1995 in New Brunswick, Massachussets, and Kingston, Ontario. After a 7 year hiatus, Denis and Michael reunited in the summer of 2002 to record a CD, Memory Banks, in Denis' home in Toronto.
