Artist description Diamondgrind is a Toronto based metal band formed in July 2001. Founded on the principles of thrash metal and classic rock, Diamondgrind layers technical wizardry against simple hard riffs for a familiar but unique sound. The four piece group pushes the limits of what you can achieve with simple instrumentation. With Dave leading the group on guitar, Matt is left free to interact with the crowd to create the living, breathing monster that is Diamondgrind. Diamondgrind intends to rip up the metal scene everywhere and show the nu-metal groups how heavy metal should be.
