    Artist History
Dancing Dave started banging on pianos when he was about 6 years old. By junior highschool he was playing synthesizer in a Rock group with his brother. He took some music courses in college including Composition, Electronic Music, and Jazz Styles. During the flood of '93 he accidentally met the eminent Cajun bluesman Mighty Shoo-bee Villery, which helped to make his playing much more colorful! Through Shoo-bee he met the classic rhythm'n'blues singer Hurricane Mary Johnson, the dark psychedelic guitarist and singer/songwriter Rick Lauffer, and many more colorful musical personalities. It's been a long road through strange days redeemed by occasional moments of ecstatic bliss...
