Artist description Captain Rock puts the Freak Show back in Rock 'n Roll. The band is fronted by the charismatic singer/songwriter/ring mistress Beth Kelly (Satellite Heroes) and anchored by drummer Danny Carbo (Thrillbilly) and indie-gal bassist Maria Callahan (Doris Daze). The act creates melodic yet chunky modern-pop, replete with driving rock rhythms and vocal gymnastics. Kelly stands six-foot-two (six-foot-six in boots) and has earned a reputation for outrageous stage antics and a momentous indie voice. Kelly remarks: "The beauty of Captain Rock is about having fun seeing and listening to something new you never heard before, and going into work the next day and saying: 'You won't believe what I saw last night!! This crazy chick in her underwear, with this bullhorn. You should have been there!'"
