Artist History The band started out as The SkinDivers back in 1999. It consisted of Andrew Pauley on guitar, Scott Phillips on bass, and Kale ? on drums. There was only one practice and Kale didn't show up. Landon joined as the second guitarist and once again, no practice. Andrew and Landon being best friends met up with the new to Flower Mound Josh Stewart, and he played drums so he replaced Kale. No one could sing so Bryan Oliver was later asked to join "The SkinDivers." There was a practice but Andrew went to bass and Landon was the only guitarist. Josh later decided he wanted to play guitar and for a while there was no drummer until Ryan Duplechin came around. We went through multiple name changes, such as Unsung Hero until finally we decided on Days Old Dream. We wrote some catchy pop punk songs, most of which are still on our original CD release. The first show was in November of 2002 and it was at Riverside Church of Christ. Since then Ryan was kicked out of the band in May and Gerardo Ramirez was asked to join for that month, but due to other commitments he was only with us for May. Landon Odle quit at the end of May and it was a slow summer, and even more recently Gabe Guevara has joined as our synth/keynoard player and Quentin Self as our drummer. The band's sound is no longer that pop/punk that is basically our whole first album. With shibby lead guitar parts, jazz bass lines and a whole array of sounds coming from the synth, Days Old Dream is something new and completely different, but it's rock, and it is awesome.
