Artist History
The R.C. are three brothers that were born in Guadalajara (Spain) where they cultivated their love for american roots music from Jazz to Country, their mother collected Elvis Presley records.
In 1994 they play live for first time in a local radio station in Guadalajara. After this they started playing in local clubs around the city.
In 1996 they move to Barcelona. At this time their style has evolved to the sound of Bluegrass. In 1998 they play at the Platja d’Aro Country Festival that helps them to play in other places as “La cantina el mal paso”, “El ultimo tren” in Cerdanyola del Valls and “The Other Place” and “Shotwell 59” in Barcelona different weekends until present. During the year 2001 they play in different Horse Fairs such as the Horse Fair from Sabadell (Barcelona) and the EQUUS Catalonia where the reputed double-bassist Mike Segura (The Nu niles) joins them. As a quartet they gain the Talent Show at the Barcelona Hayride Festival (Americana Music).That same year they play live at the nationwide country radio program Countrybution dedicated to Country music from Radio 3, RNE. In August 2002 they have played in the reputed festival from the south of France “Country Rock Prat-Bonrepaux”.
