Artist History
The Klassique-Andy "love" Jackson born on December 1st 1961 in Boynton Beach,Florida and is the son of James and Odessa Jackson.He began singing in the Baptist Church Choir at the age of 11. He got his first break as lead singer for the group "Master Stroke"in South Carolina where he performed from the 70`s until 1981.He has been singing professionally since 1983.Upon his return to South Florida. Andy met Bradd,Gwen and Ken {Known as the Bristell`s Cream Band}where he joined as back-up lead singer for 3 years. He performed with several other groups including"Broad Members"and" Style"In1983,Andy released two R&B singles as a solo artist Andrew Love.He joined Etherea in 1994 as lead vocalist.The group now known as "Klassique"was formed in 1997.Andy "love" Jackson`s many years of rehearsals and performances have resulted in his effortless ability to phrase articulate soulfully. Andy puts the smooth in groove and is the melodic songwriter who loves to sing.Donzer"Bradd" Bradley born January 20,1948 in West Palm Beach, Bradd was First exposed to the local groups of the 60`s such as; Joe Fisher & The Chanteers, The Jivin Jets,The chandeliers and Jimmy "Bo" Horn.From that exposure,Bradd fromed the group The Mighty Re-Vells. Soon after graduting from high school the group went to Trenton,New Jersey on advice from their manager.In 1971 the Re-Vells Released their single -"Do I Love You",which was number one in the Delaware Valley for 10 weeks.In 1977 Bradd migrated back to South Florida and formed the group Bristell`s Cream. The group played in various local club and in 1978 singed with agents from Fantasma Productions.The group worked 6 days a week in 1980 and 1981 while performing for the Bob Hope USO Tours in Germany,Greece,Spain and Turkey. After taking time to settle down and raise a family, Bradd once again got the bug to perform.The concept of Old School/New School was the driving theme and in 1996 Klassique was born.Ken "B-Dunn" Layton born in Trenton,New Jersey to Henrique and Irma Lee Layton. His musical experience began at the age of 11 while attending church and listening to his mother as the lead vocalist in the choir.This was the ritual until he was 13,at which time he joined a street-corner group names True Essence. In early 1972, Ken met Bradd during a rehearsal for the Re-Vells and liked what he heard. As chance would have it, the backup singer was unable to continue with the group.Ken was asked to sit in on the rehearsal,his voice fit perfectly and was asked to joined the group. He moved to Florida with the group late that year and co-founded the group Bristell`s Cream with Bradd. Ken is currently one of the front line vocalist ,with this exciting group "Klassique".Ken is also the MC of the group.Willie "Daddy-O" Johnson born December 27,1964 in West Palm Beach,Florida to Willie and Cora Johnson. His first musical experience took place when he was five years of age,at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.Willie is currently a lead vocalist in the Choir at New Macedonia Baptist Church,which he has been attening for the past 15 years.Willie was so inspired with his ability to make audiences enjoy his singing,he consulted with a friend Bradd, the general manager of the group "Klassique"to give him a try at beening a part of this up and coming group .He was move to back ground vocal for a short time, after proving himself he was placed on the front-line with the other leaders of the group. Willie is also the chorographer of "Klassique",he is known as the( New Twist) of the group.Thank You for taking time to read this "Bio". |
