Artist description
“We are a straight up rock and roll band. Our music comes from the heart and strives to relate to fans young and old,” says singer Bill Gafford. “We're not concerned with writing something completely new or unique, instead we hope to produce music that relates to everyone and everyday feelings.”
“We want to connect with the public and help create positive motivation. We feel our music is a great reflection of all of the musicians that influenced and motivated us to become what we are,” continues Gafford. “ From Zeppelin and Hendrix, Kiss and Crue, to Elton John, Springsteen, Aerosmith and Queen. We want to have the same powerful and overwhelming sound.”

Press Reviews
SOL has shared the stage with Splender, Atticus Fault, The Nixons and Bowling for Soup. “When seeing this rock band live, be prepared for a high paced, accelerating show that leaves you feeling engulfed with energy. SOL has an upbeat, high-energy sound that is familiar, yet unique. With spiraling electric guitars; body moving bass lines, and percussions pulled from the incredible talent of Tony Jimenez they burn up the stage. Front man, Bill Gafford, takes the audience on a soul searching, heart felt journey, pulling you into every show whether you felt like participating or not.” - Angie Zihlman of Blah Blah Entertainment. Comparisons to Stone Temple Pilots, Fuel, Candlebox, Tonic and Guns’nRoses have all been made. |
