Artist History
Rebel Saint is the brainchild of singer songwriter Greg Kosic and drummer Barry Trainor, who are neither rebels or saints. Greg and Barry are both experienced musicians having both played in various local bands. Despite the many different groups, the twosome originally formed Virginia Dare and later, Slick Willy. Both bands were successful playing live. Original music was always in our mindset from day one. Producing smart rock with integrity and attaining a record contract are Rebel Saint's primary goals. We've just finished our first 4 song demo which was recorded and mixed in a record 24 hours in a tiny basement. Our special friend MMO from Vancouver's west coast laid down some smokin licks. He's kinda like the fifth Beatle. We currently have a backlog of good solid songs (***just waiting to be produced***) and we're always writing new material. We just need to find a way to finance the production and recording, or we just might have to resort to a life of petty crime.

Press Reviews
With an opening like Spiller's Groovejet this song turns into a nice rock-tune with a touch of latin in it. The sound is nowhere garagelike, very clean and a wellproduced track. Good voice, nice guitar and they really do a great job making it simple. I think this band would would work great in a small club, where you could enjoy the music, and really listen to it.
