Artist description Catholic CD Review is a website designed to provide timely reviews of CDs with a spiritual theme that is uniquely Catholic. Styles of music range from rock, pop, alternative and techno to acoustic folk and classical. Each review will be accompanied by a picture of the CD cover and a featured song. Since most CDs recorded by Catholic artists are independent releases and are not sold in stores or on well known websites such as Amazon.com, Catholic CD Review will provide complete contact information so that you can write to the artist directly to order the CD. If a CD is being distributed through a company, that website information is also provided. It is hoped that Catholic CD Review will provide much needed exposure for the many fine Catholic CDs which are available for purchase. If you’re interested in the purchase of Catholic CDs to enhance your prayer life, meditate on the scriptures, or just provide a wholesome entertainment alternative, Catholic CD Review is the place for you! Artist History Reviewer: Susan Bailey Susan Bailey was the editor and publisher of GrapeVine, the first and only online magazine for Catholic performing and recording artists. GrapeVine was published for 3 years online and was also distributed via PDF files for printout. GrapeVine featured CD reviews, in-depth interviews with artists, articles about radio stations, record companies, record producers and record distributors, and updates on the various happenings of Catholic artists. Although the last issue of GrapeVine was published in May of 2000, Susan has continued to do CD reviews at the request of artists. Susan is also a Catholic performing and recording artist.
