Artist description
April Disaster is a five-piece Philadelphia-based band. Melodically intertwining guitar riffs are complemented by subtle, wandering bass lines, dreamy cello and poppy keyboards, and sometimes atmospheric, sometimes upbeat drums. Light and airy female-fronted vocals and the occasional accompaniment of the violin float amidst the mix. With a broad range of influences from Galaxie 500 to Smokie Robinson to The Pixies, April Disaster is certainly an eclectic ensemble. April Disaster will soothe you into a lull, and then rock you wide awake |
