Artist description Andy Hughes, god rest his soul, tried to smoke oregano one day. After vomiting on a public pathway, the name was born. Actually, they're comprised of 3 Gloucester High School students (well, 2 now that Allan graduated) and Ken. They're not too sure if he goes to school. He keeps talking about going to "school" and walks down to the LCBO. Oh well. A mix of punk, ska, and whatever the hell else they feel like playing, The Oregano Incident has a "unique" sound. With a backbone in Punk Ska, the influences of the group reach as far as Dream Theater, Tool, Steve Vai, Rush, and Pink Floyd for Jesse; Rush, Reel Big Fish, Our Lady Peace (before they were stupid), Presidents (before they were stupid), and NOFX for Luke; Rush, Chick Corea, Presidents, Steve Vai, Van Halen, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and NOFX for Al
