Artist description Oscillator Project (aka Daniel Pipitone) began evolving in August of 2002, when it began with a series of spontaneous sessions, experimenting with found sound, homemade electronic textures and grooves to create varied sound environments rooted in improvisation. Oscillator Project focuses on allowing the sound to take shape moment by moment, driving itself. Each set is fresh. Each set is unique. Each set is Electronic Improvisational Ambient Groove. Much in line with the styles of Biosphere or Higher Intelligence Agency, and with varied influences such as Visit Venus and SIngle Cell Orchestra and Young American Primitive, and fueled by the improvisational powers of the likes of John Coltrane, Oscillator Project attempts to craft a new and intensely rich soundscape, with a unique form captured each session.
