Artist History Rick Wilson, founder and lead vocalist of "Steel Belted Radio" sang in Louisville cover band "What Ever Will" for five years before forming the original band "SBR". Wilson and Spanbauer are the driving force behind the band. Their debut album "Drive" was "a lot of fun to make" say the two Louisville natives. Steve Spanbauer, still plays in "Olive Trees" with his wife Karen Dean. Bass player Shuan Kennedy plays guitar with "Outspoken". "Outspoken" is ready to support their debut CD launch with a major label. Mark Esterle is still in Med school and plays drums for "Olive Trees" on their debut CD "Water Vision". "Water Vision" is a truely great collection of songs and Karen's vocals rival Natalie Mechant. In short, "Steel Belted Radio" is just a group of freinds rocking out.
