Artist History Of Hidden Luxuries started in the late years of 2001. Matt, Dave and Jotham were originally part of a four piece band called TradeWind. Things turned sour, and the band parted ways. Arround January of 2002, Matt and Jotham got together to form Cold Water District, the back bone of what OHL became. With an acoustic guitar, lyrics about women and life, they set out to make music. Thing turned to the worse when Jotham was diagnosed w/ cancer. This sparked a new intrest for him, of which he set in motion. In June 2002, Cold Water District enlisted the help of John, and the trio began to write music under many different names (Cold Water District, Trials and Tribulations, Thick as Thieves) but something was still missing. In July of 2002, Dave re-joined his fellow band mates to form Of Hidden Luxuries. Things got tough when Dave could not make practices, so with no hard fealings, Dave left the band and was replaced by Chri
