Artist History
Jon began his life-long relationship with music at the age of nine, during which he was introduced to the sonic ear-candy of Tomita's "Kosmos". Started composing and recording at the age of 13 and soon after, invested in his first four-track. Early equipment list included the likes of the Yamaha YS100, Roland Sh101 and Kawai K1 module! In late teens began to be heavily influenced by the ambient/space music artists Michael Stearns and Steve Roach, where his music took a radical turn from "synth-rock" to more subtle aural textures. Here he found a natural affinity to this genre and has pursued it passionately ever since. 'Pangea' will be the result of 17 years of honing his compositional and recording skills.... |
