    Artist History
As a producer and DJ, he was born with a talent that is of unsound mind and soul. With his unique, deep and progressive DJ sets and his amazing production of indefinable songs, his sound and vision of music has touched people from different parts of the world. Vic was first introduced to the underground sound in the early 90’s. While flipping though the radio tuner in his car, he accidentally came across a pirate radio station that was playing electronic sounds he had never heard. That was the day destiny awaited. After a month of searching, he found a nightlife, which revolved around this electronic sound. Vic was overwhelmed by the techniques that DJ's used to mix records, and decided to give it a try for himself. He then, came across a talent he never knew existed. On his journey to learning the basics of DJing, he carefully watched and observed other DJ's and their techniques. Meanwhile, he began creating electronic music with computer-based programs in order to feed this new urge for music that he now had. Three years later, this yearning turned into a passion, leading to a new career path for him. Being the quick learner that he is, Vic understood the concept of “mastering the turntables” within the time span of three months. In early ‘96, he passed on a homemade, mixed demo tape to a promoter, who organized underground parties in Los Angeles. This demo opened the doors to play at underground parties and desert gatherings, which is what lead him into DHV Records (no longer affiliated). In the spring of ’97, he put production on hold, and released his first CD, titled, Tunnel of Ecstasy. During this time, he presented his style and love for music by playing at local clubs. Ever since, he has blessed many dance floors all over the U.S., and other parts of the world with his deep, progressive, and tribal driven sounds of trance and house. This also gave him the opportunity to play along side many great talents he looks up to, which include: SASHA, DIGWEED, RICHIE HAWTIN, SANDRA COLLINS, DEEP DISH, FERRY CORSTEN, KID VISOUSE, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, JESSE BROOKS, DONALD GLAUDE, etc. In the summer of 2000, Vic was asked to join the DHV's Ambrosia 2000 tour in South America. While on tour, he recorded and released his second CD, Vision in Creation – Live at the Ambrosia 2000 Tour, Lima, Peru. His incredible sets and amazing ability to move crowds to a level of indescribable feeling expanded his name to the southern part of the Americas. Vic Odin left such a tremendous impact on his South American fans, that he was asked to return for a solo tour, and so he did. After touring different parts of the world in 2000, Vic teamed up with Trilogy Recordings, and spent a great amount of time in the studio to produce more tracks. His first release with Trilogy debuted in fall of 2001, under the alias, TRIFACTOR. Vic has eight more releases to come in 2002, which will include TRIFACTOR remixes for System of a Down, Tori Amos, Radiohead and his long awaited album “IN MOTION”. “It’s one thing to spin records, but it’s another thing to make a crowd move to your beat … it’s the greatest feeling in the world.”
