Artist description
Each of the five members of The Rigbees brings their own musical influences, tastes and experiences to the band's sound, but each have a like-minded interest in the craft of breathing life and energy into solid, well-honed songs.
"Honest," "visceral" and "unique" have all been used to characterize the lyrical styling and content of The Rigbees ever-expanding catalog of original songs, which often present refreshing and original takes on the lives of simple people in pursuit of truth, beauty and happiness…in addition to a paycheck, a glass of beer and a lover they can understand.
To sum up, The Rigbees are five dedicated guys who work hard at what they do. They are consumed by making music. They live for playing their original material for anyone who'll listen. Their band and their music matter...at least to them, and hopefully to others.

Artist History
The Rigbees were born around a 90-minute collection of solo acoustic demos recorded by songwriter/singer Steve Brown. On the basis of those demos, the band was formed with a "songs-come-first" philosophy, and began to add texture and layers to the material to arrive at their unique, dynamic blend of distinctly American roots pop/rock. |

Press Reviews
"One of the things that really struck me was how the audience was taken in by the group. They are at the top of the list in terms of any audience friendly band I've ever heard. Their music is happy and has a great rock feel. It's good to know that we still have a band that will help to inspire and uplift spirits." –PhillyMusic.com
