Artist History Derek Davis aka TeK DeEp Born on August 27th 1984 in Bakersfield,California raised in Long Beach & also Orange County,California which still to this day he resides in.TeK has been producing his own music since the age of 16 while attending High School at Capistrano Valley High School (Class of 02).TeK caught on real fast with his music talents while takin a music course at his high school which taught him the basics of song layout & production. TeK Says:"At that time I was just working with a PMA5 & I was using a program called "Master Tracks Pro". I was using a regular MIDI keyboard Everything I did was free hand.I liked making beats so much I would try to find ways to get out of my other classes and sneak in the music lab and make beats.By the time I graduated out of high school I had at least 50 songs which some I still have to this day".
