Artist History Originally formed as a Dashboard Confessional spin-off, the original three acoustic members: Dave Cavalier, Tim MacKenzie, and Ryan Mills wrote and performed until adding drummer Jeff Willhoit where they began to develop their own style. To complete the Next Summer's Hero line-up, they added Mark Ebner to accompany on bass to add a final aspect to the now unique style they have collectively created.
