Artist History Cousins by birth, guitarist Teresa Blais and bassist Wendy Swanson often function more like two halves of the same consciousness. Their uncommon musical symbiosis formed the backbone of estrogen-fueled Twin Cities rock powerhouse Zelpha Trippe. Following ZT's dissolution in late 2000, the two began experimenting with a new musical direction, recruiting drummer Brent Langley to flesh out their ambitious creativity. Fresh from the implosion of post-metal iconoclasts Cold Cranking Amps, Langley's psychotic expressionism brought a perfect tension to the mix, and Miracle Punch was born.
