He writes serious minded songs about relationships and introspecive ideas that effect everyone. His influences play a major role in his music and filter through, but produce a unique sound that sounds only like one person: Jonny B.

Artist History Jonny B started playing music in grade school in the 4th grade, playing the violin. He picked up the guitar at 15, when he bought his first guitar. He is primarily self taught. However, has had some classical training and theory training to help him along the way. He has picked up various styles from various local artists, and has kept an open mind to playing the guitar. Though he has not mastered any one technique, he is skilled in several styles including jazz, classical, blues, folk and R&B. Jonny has been professionaly playing since 1995, mostly coffeehouses and bookstores throughout the Washington, DC metro area. His songwriting has grown and flourished around the same time. He recently finished his debut album, Pencil Sketches, and is now embarking on an aggressive local promotions in it's support.
