Artist History
Arizona Desert Rock!
Spiders & Snakes were formed circa 1990 by frontman Lizzie Grey from the remnants of Ultra Pop, which was his follow-up to London. You may remember London. It was only the 1980’s supergroup that helped launched the careers of rock gods BLACKIE LAWLESS (W.A.S.P.), IZZY STRADLIN, SLASH, STEVEN ADLER (GUNS ‘N ROSES), FRED COURY (CINDERELLA), NIGEL BENJAMIN (MOTT THE HOOPLE),
and NIKKI SIXX (MOTLEY CRUE).
SPIDERS & SNAKES almost immediately formed their own niche in their former hometown of Hollywood, California (now based in Arizona) by ignoring the trends that rise and fall within the music industry (remember grunge?). Instead, they opted for a more "Over-The-Top" musical presentation. They barnstormed through the rest of the US in the early and mid-1990’s, increasing their following ever so steadily through word-of-mouth. With their new hit "I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes: (a Jim Stafford remake), They are surely on their way to the top! Their following has reached such a fever pitch that tickets to their live shows are now a prized possession, not only on the world-famous Sunset Strip, but throughout the southwest! They were also named, LA's Best Rock Band by
