Artist description
A great rock and roll band is emerging again in Manchester – that band is nusonic.
nusonic has all the attributes that great bands need in abundance. They look cool and the live experience leaves you in no doubt how much being the best means to them. nusonic distils the best elements of the songwriter’s art and comes through with an entirely original sound. At their best they are a wonderful paradox; delicious and sometimes beautifully fragile melodies combine with off kilter chords and the best distorted, jangled tones to create an irresistible whole.
The nusonic experience is underpinned by an instinctive grasp of what’s hot and what’s not. Above all, the music captures what has been largely missing in the output of ‘boys with guitars’ in recent years – music to stand the test of time, delivered with an urgency which encapsulates the here and now.
nusonic is an intoxicating blend; killer songs with a pop sensibility performed with a kinetic verve that demands you pay attention. The future of rock and roll . . . no less.

Press Reviews
"I’m just been so impressed by this band, not only for their post-new-wave-rock sentiments, but also their sheer popability, strong songwriting and overall attitude. Damn they’re good. And tonight Matthew, they continue to impress. The guitars ricochet off each other as the crunching, off kilter chords are squashed against Stu’s 1979, wobbling, tremeloed leads. The harmonies are great and they just look good. It’s the right recipe and one worth noting."
