Artist History Leisa began singing in school choirs from the time she first set foot in school. After spending her toddler years amusing family and friends Leisa was able to put her charisma to work in front of an even larger audience. Later performing as a solo artist in school, Leisa went on to perform as a soloist and backing singer for her church. She started taking singing lessons when she was 12 years old with church music directors and went on to take lessons with Sheila O'Connor - the sister of Mel Gibson. After an interstate move with her family at the age of 15, Leisa started to develop her very own passion for soul music. Up until that time, she had adored music of every genre not having a particular favourite. She studied singing at a vocal academy and learned to sing Opera and underwent Classical training upon which she relies today. Continuing to sing in church, Leisa started to instruct other vocalists. It was 1996 before Leisa got her first paying job as a wedding singer. In 1998 Leisa started writing full songs which would lead her to where she is today. Performing at Corporate Events, Concerts, Weddings, and Hotels, Leisa started to develop her very own entertaining style. Participating every year in a Carols by Candlelight Concert is a secret joy as she just adores Christmas Time. Another special memory was her live appearance during the Sydney Olympics 2000 Torch Run. This year 2002, Leisa has finally seen her childhood dream come to pass when she collaborated with US Producer Chaz T and finished her debut album 'Serious Business'. The album is due out in September and Leisa is looking forward to enjoying the rest of her career as a recording artist.
