Artist History By Saturday began as a three-man jam band sometime after the new millennium. The original line-up consisted of Aaron Grassian, Donovan Popps and Eric Luckowski. Although the group successfully generated many dB and several complaints from neighbors, it was clear that another person was needed to fill out the sound: enter Aaron Seymour on lead vocals and guitar. With the band's line-up complete, the four spent several months rehearsing in Eric's garage studio (a.k.a "Electric Babyland") assembling a set list of approximately fifty original and cover songs. This is also where the group's first demo CD, a live recording, was made. Described in audience feedback as "punk/pop-ish", "mellow and catchy", as well as "driving blues rock", the By Saturday sound has a range that is as broad as the spectrum of emotions from which the music comes. By Saturday is just now breaking into the Austin music scene, so be on the lookout for the next show!
