Artist description
From the mean streets of suburban, upper-middle
class Cranford, comes the dynamic power trio:
Bluestar. These three young men from the south
side of the tracks sing songs about what its
like growing up in the suburbs. Their songs open
up their world to you; a world of struggle, big
houses and high paying jobs. Bluestar is gritty,
powerful and real...really suburban. |

Artist History
Bluestar started in 1999 as the acoustic duo of
Pat Bock and Kerry Drexler. After a few months
they picked up their good friend Mike Gathercole
to do percussion and really started developing
their sound and making a name for themselves.
When Mike left to focus on his career in the
Fall of 2001, they decided to switch to an
electric power trio format and got the insanely
talented, young Dennis Rasmussen on drums and in
Feb. 2002 the "new" Bluestar was formed.
