Artist description
Three guitars drive the heart of the music with ghostly echoes and phases disorientating the listener. Lyrics of alienation and cheated emotion, accompanied by drums at times thunderous at others understated and ultimately supportive.
Sonic soul candy for those most in need. |

Artist History
The band's earliest roots go back to 1997 when David and Steve were joined by Paul in their late night sessions producing guitar driven sounds unlike anything they were hearing at that time. As things progressed it was obvious that drums would be a necessary part of the equation. Enter Amos. After successful rehearsals the band played 9 times between 1998-9 in and around London. Live the band went from haunting sweet instrumentals like Little Lost Causes to fiery sonic assaults - Luke's Tune,If You Don't Smile I'll Make You Cry, to tearful vocal led tunes such as August Works, One Big Comedown and Nothing Lasts That Long.
During their most active time they had one release - A Return to Satisfy (Opium Tears Mix) on the Earworm records compilation double cd entitled The Tell Tale Signs of Earworm (Worm 43). (Copies of this collection may still be available from people like Normans Records http://www.normanrecords.com and Chunky). A live collection compiled from sound desk tapes of their 1998-9 live shows entitled, live in london ep, is being released on Dream Driven Recordings (vsmilecdr1). Tracks include: Repeat To Fade, Nothing Lasts That Long, Luke's Tune, If You Don't Smile I'll Make You Cry, A Return To Satisfy (Live Reprise), Little Lost Causes.
