Recent Interview with Make-A-Star:
1) MakeaStar.com: Welcome to Make-A-Star. Did you ever think you would get this far?
Honestly....NO...I am thrilled to be here!! And may I say, without the help and encouragement of all my brothers and sisters at HARDCOREPROMO.COM, I probably wouldn't be here right now...DJ Catatonic is a Fantastic Promoter and all the Artists in HCP are some of the BEST on the PLANET....just check them out and see....
2) MAS: What do you think it is about your song that it has gotten into the finals?
The Power of it...it makes one feel powerful and confident...it is a hard jamming tune, and I agree with the Industry reviewer; there is probably an untapped market out there for this type of music.
3) MAS: Have you been getting any e-mail from Fans? The Industry?
Some from fans, but none from Industry as of yet.
4) MAS: If so, what is the response to your song and your sound in general?
The fans that have written seem to love it; GREAT!!
5) MAS: What do you think about MakeaStar.com's Industry review service?
I think it is a valuable tool to any Musician or Band to use as a gauge to measure how they stack up to what the Industry is looking for.
6) MAS: What about the equal voting power being given to Fans and the Industry in
the contests?
I feel it is fair...although fans actually BUY the music, so their opinion may be a little more weighty...
7) MAS: Was getting into the contest your primary goal or were you more interested in the industry review?
Both...I wanted both; but I guess getting in was the primary goal...I knew the song was pretty good already...does that sound arrogant?? :D Not meant to be...it ain't Great, but Good...
8) MAS: How did you develop your sound? Is there a primary songwriter? Is it collaborative?
It is all me and a friend of mine on drums...my sound just comes ad lib...I have no formal song per se...just off the cuff until it is right in my mind and ear...
9) MAS: Any influences you care to mention? What have other people compared you to?
Ted Nugent, Eddie Van Halen, Ritchie Blackmore, Ace Frehley, Ronnie Montrose, Billy Gibbons
10) MAS: What do you think sets you apart from other Artists in your genre?
Nothing spectacular, but I do have a "Chunky", Powerful Grinding sound to my tunes, I think...so I've been told, anyway...
11) MAS: It’s obvious that your recorded material is great, but how about the live show?
GREAT??!! THANK YOU!! The live show, as is the case with ALL Acts, I think, would not be as attractive as the recording...the fans would have to judge, I guess...
12) MAS: Are you playing anywhere anytime soon?
No...too busy at my DAY JOB!!
13) MAS: Have you released your music already? If so how, where and when? If not, do you plan to in the near future?
I have one CD available on MP3.com right now:
/artists/cds/256/256128.html
....and 100 CD's on the way for distribution and sale; the title of the CD is "Ramifications"...also, I have another planned for this Spring...it will be titled "Sweet Rock Kandy", and it will be available on MP3.com also...I am looking at an Instrumental Rock/Metal label right now if they are interested in me...should know something on that soon...
14) MAS: Where would you like to see your music take you?
To the BANK!!!! Is that an All-American answer or what??!! :D
15) MAS: How realistic is that goal in terms of the immediate future?
Hopefully very realistic...I'll just have to wait and see where the cards fall....
16) MAS: What one band would you like to follow in the footsteps of down the road to success?
Ted Nugent...he Rocks, he has fun at it, and he's just a down-to-earth guy who doesn't have the Overblown Ego some musicians have...and he LOVES to PARTY...my kinda personality!!

Press Reviews
"A good rhythm and beat is crucial to a song and is a fundamental to
lovemaking. So when my head went to bobbing to this cd my girl said it
ranked pretty high on the richter scale. It RAWKED, BROTHER!! In fact I
think I knocked something loose . Oh wait…..There was already something
not right about my head. Too much hairspray and 80’s rock will do that
to you, I guess. But now about Seismic Anamoly. I have before me 2
separate CD’s and one common fact; both are hard to classify. At first I
think Heavy Metal, and then I think Dance music.....HUH? You say! Well, I
can see it being both really. But to top it off, it's Instrumental Rock.
S.A. has a style very much his own that’s technically metal with nice
volume and velocity. I can see myself listening to this music on a long
drive when I want to do some thinking without hearing somebody
screaming’ over the music. S.A. has done very well for himself in the way of
promotions. I have seen numerous websites that feature his music and
several that have him ranked high on their list. He now ranks high on mine.
Check it out for yourself."
K-Man - CD Smash
"The drums might sound slightly hollow although
the musicianship throughout 'Broken Dreams' is
fairly solid. You can especially hear this in
distorted power guitars that enter with the
climax around the two-minute mark. This is the
point where the song probably takes off and
displays the most energy and from here on in
it's a great power metal listening experience.
For fans of up-and-coming power metal,
'Broken Dreams' is a track that you won't want
to miss."
Critics Review - MP3Magazine.com
"Seismic Anamoly - Instrumental ROCK with heart-pounding
guitar licks and steady rhythm. Check out his site
and download the tunes. My favorite is 'Just
Don't Give A Damn'. This is heavy metal with
attitude. It's climbing the MP3
charts and getting airplay in Brazil and Hawaii
and you don't want to miss this."
