Artist description
It all seems to be heading towards some sort of asymptote. Urgent Convergence...ConvUrgent. I Remember the good ones: Genesis, Yes, ELP... Their's does not need to be lost in the beauty of technology we enjoy today.
If you hear something that sounds familiar, a chord or a sequence from the past, then I've been successful. If you do notice something, let me know. Sometimes it's unconscious of me.
Really though, all music is simply recycled. A chord here, an arpeggio there, a familiar bassline. To say that we are not influenced by others is a slap in the face to all those who
have gone before us and those who are there with us now. There's nothing wrong with sounding like another. It's the best way
to make the audience comfortable with your music.
I seek to converge the familiar with my own flavors to create something good. I hope you enjoy! |
