Artist History
The Resistors formed in April 2002. Bassist Ryan and Drummer Scott decided to start a band with their friends Rob (Vocals) and Allan(Guitar) to play Ramones covers in a school assembly. Long story short, the assembly never happened, but The Resistors were born nonetheless. Rob, left the band after about a month, at which point Stu was added on vocals. After a few months of practicing, and realizing they wanted 2 guitarists, they added Ionas v.Z. on lead guitar. Recetnly, our original bassist Ryan, was replaced with a new bassist, Andre. With cutting vocals, jagged guitars, tommy gun drumming, and haggard-ass bass; The Resistors are working hard to bring a new voice to the ailing Barrie music scene. |
