Musical Influences My surroundings, especially nature, and the thought that I will never reach true knowledge.

Artist History Nebel Torvum is a single person project which came into existence during the Winter of 2001 - 2002. Although composing for a number of years, it wasn't until recently that the idea came to record previous compositions as well as progress in terms of writing material. Towards the end of the Summer, in 2002, the name Nebel Torvum came into existence. 'Nebel' comes from my native language, German, meaning 'Fog' and 'Torvum' meaning 'Grim'. Though German is my native language, and the language in which I first spoke, I was born in Ontario, Canada and continue to reside here. Inspiration for my project, Nebel Torvum, comes from a variety of sources, but mainly Nature, Philosophy and my personal quest for knowledge.
