Artist History
Casey Van Dam and Brian Farvour started the band back in the summer of 2000 as a punk cover band called Eggplant Totem Pole. This lasted throughout the fall & following spring until the two hooked up with a bass player and started to craft their musical style. It was during this time that the boys wrote their first original song, a litle ditty entitled, "Gleemo Addict. " Eventually, their bass player was ousted due to a conflict of interests, and another member stepped into his place-Rick Wetzel, a saxophone player and friend who was just looking to have a good time. Now a ska band, the three found a new bass player, Jon Olsen, and after going though a series of horn lineups, finally settled on Rick as the sole member of the horn section. After entering into a recordng studio to lay down teir first demo CD, which included a re-worked version of, "Gleemo Addict, " entitled, "Stuck Up, " and the funk jam, "Johnny Heart Break, " the boys of Johnny Kryptonite And The Horn Brigade are finally ready to take the world by storm. Or maybe just a light shower. Sunny over Oregon. |

Additional Info
Um........there was this one day when I went outside to get the mail, and my car, which is normally parked towards the end of the driveway, wasn't there. I got a little worried until I remembered that I had parked it in the garage the night before. What a day that was. |
