Artist History
We were assigned a project in lit class so we decided to do a video about discovering the new world. We all had instruments so we just played some music in the video, and it was a lot of fun and we didn't sound too bad either. So we started playing together and practicing. We were friends anyway so that made it a little easier. We've got about 12 songs now, it's just a matter of recording all of them. We record in my "studio" which is actually a home-built computer with a Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum and a stereo system. All this is in my room which is probly no bigger than your average closet (well maybe a little bigger). But we spend a lot of time with the recordings to get good quality. It's not quite been a year since we considered ourselves a "band" but in my opinion we've come a long way. We've played at our church many times and once at a True Love waits rally which was pretty big. Also we played at the Blue Marquee theatre and an annual "rock show" called the Brown Cow project. We'll be recording and getting more songs up on the site. |
