    Artist History
RubiX, formerly "Liquid Banana" started out as most groups do by playing open mic gigs and taking invitations to perform anywhere they could throughout Colorado. With the explosive combination of the group's original music, mixed with their amazing stage presence, their talent did not go unnoticed for long. At a Colorado music festival, after their set, Liquid Banana had a run in with rock legend Berry Oakley of the "Allman Brothers" who insisted the group would have the talent to make it, if they stuck together. Having their inspiration fueled, Liquid Banana set forth to collect their fame. The band toured Colorado with local groups "Blister 66" and "Sucker" in search of some higher ground, but the lack of a lead singer with a strong presence was keeping them down. In 2001, singer Everit Herter joined the band. The group's style instantaneously fused with Everit's lyrics to turn it into a song-writing, jamming machine; and their hi-energy live shows began to burn up audiences all over the Rockies. With a new style came a new sound and a new name, and the buzz around Colorado became "RubiX." With their reformed style, the members of RubiX decided it was time to join a long train of clichés by packing their bags and heading west in search of their dreams. Destination: Hollywood. Now, with an act like no one has ever seen, RubiX is here to infest the minds of people with open ears to new music, and the group is setting in for the long hall in a very determined music career.
