Artist History
For Eternity formed in the summer of 1999 when Chris Holston (guitar) and JR Denson (vocals) decided to play in a band for the youth group at their church. Eventually, however, the band had to spread its wings and move out of the church to spread their message to the world. After meeting Ethan Kaufmann (guitar) and Thomas Ross (bass), it seemed that the bands lineup was complete. Starting For Eternity has proved to be a worthy investment, as they have shared the stage with bands like The Elms, The Normals, Mercy Me, Forty Days, and All Together Seperate. They've played churches and clubs all over Texas, as well as the Alamo Dome two years in a row to an audience of over 10,000 people. The band has also played The Seminar in the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. They got second place in the music ensemble, and plan to tour more in the very near future. For Eternity has released one album, 'Why?', and are currently working on their sophomore release, 'The Audible Diaries', due out in late September of 2002.
Their lyrics are about real life experiences that their fans can relate to, as well as their spiritual beliefs, that gave birth to the band three years ago. For more info look up www.4eternitymusic.com |
