Artist description
The DirtyBirds are a critics delight - and worst nightmare. The quartet's mind-blowing mix of snarling, early 80's punk and Deep Purple-thick, 70's guitar rock - colored with a ballsy Kingsmen meet The Seeds 60's approach - keeps scribes tossing and turning after bedtime. Yet, The DirtyBirds' deserved reputation as hot rodding, hard hitting Hell raisers - and their larger than life adventures - have garnered features in such NW magazines as The Rocket, Backfire, Seattle Weekly, and the Stranger.

Artist History
The DirtyBirds have opened sold out shows for legendary performers Link Wray, Southern Culture on the Skids, Frank Black, R.L. Burnside, Wayne Kramer, Bad Brains, Dead Moon, Zeke, and Gas Huffer and Modest Mouse . At each and every show, no matter how big or small, the DirtyBirds give a 150% - sweat soaked - ground pounding - all out live performance that gets even the stodgiest of bored looking scenesters swinging their hips!
Now re-fitted with a new bassist, and straining at their Olympia tethers like a race built 440 on a bad motor mount, the 'Birds are taking their high-octane, low-drag act out on the road - in their '65 Cadillac Hearse!

Press Reviews
"This CD bleeds greasy, booze-soaked, fist-fightin', drag strip rock-n-roll… But don't think for a minute these guys are too smashed or stupid to play-just the opposite. The most impressive thing about Dirty Birds is what a solid bunch of musicians the truly are."
