Artist description
A 4 piece, high engery, hard working, band. Strong vocals, unique style and personality sets them apart from the average rock band. Serious song topics do not keep this band from keeping a fun, energetic, in your face live performance. Their live shows include different variations of their most popular songs, interactions with the crowd, sing alongs, and a kick ass performance. A New Day's music fits into many different genre's and the boys like to keep it experimental. |

Artist History
Mike and Nick of A New Day were originally in a band named Slacker dating back to the Summer of 2000. Disagreements with their drummer split Slacker apart in the fall of 2001. Keeping the same name, Mike and Nick found a new drummer. Kevin, the new drummer, entered Slacker and created a new and impressive sound. The band still felt they needed more, so they turned to Nik Garofallou for Bass. Bringing in Nik Garofallou as the new bassist, Nick Ebner the old bassist began to play second guitar for A New Day. A New Day was set, and in April of 2002 they released their first demo, "Everything I Haven't Forgotten". After a year together chemistry between the bassist, Nik Garofallou, and the rest of the members grew weak. In April of 2003, Nik left the band and A New Day had yet again, another new memeber, Anthony Quatrone. During the summer of 2003 A New Day recorded The "Wish You Were Here" EP in the studio. After completion of the project the band found itself with another problem, Anthony had to depart for College. After one month of Haitus, the band picked up good friend Mike Jordan from False Appearance. Since then A New Day has been playing different venues all over Long Island. |
