Artist History 3rd Colony formed out of the association of three multi-talented veteran musician/songwriters. Vocalist Patrick Stacey, guitarist Bob Margolis and drummer Steve Barke are highly respected musicians in the Washington DC/Baltimore area. Although all are involved in various jazz, blues and funk projects, the artists were ready in early 2002 to create a group evoking their shared reverence for 70's era hard rock. Demos of their original material were exchanged and through weekly collaborations led to their debut self-titled release "3rd Colony." (For more information on these artists click on "links").
