Artist History
It all started in the summer of 2001 with nothing but two guitars. I (Evan) hooked up with Danny the second week of June, and he came over and we played for about 10 hours. We had no intentions of starting a band, but it would eventually lead to one. On that night, we wrote a short joke song called "MM."
Some time had gone by since our first "practice", and we agreed that we NEEDED to start a band. So, we went to work finding bandmates, while having practice at my house at the same time.
We had 2 guitars, about 4 complete songs by now, but no drummer. The only person we both know who played drums was John. John was not a person we had hoped to ask, but he was the only drummer we knew. Anyway, John joined the band the 2nd week of school. We had practices at John's house, which didn't go too well. Because of this, we decided we needed to find someone else. John left the band, and Danny and I searched for a new drummer
Jared was the new kid in school. He loved Blink and Green Day. We already knew Jared was in another band "My Favorite Illness". We went out on a limb and asked him if he'd like to join our band as well. He agreed, and here we are today. With Jared's help, we kicked everyone's butts at the Hale Talent show. We played "Hitchin' A Ride" by Green Day, and it sounded awesome |
